Junior golfers are welcome at The Vines and are fully integrated into the heart and soul of the Club.
We provide an inclusive environment for juniors and The Vines aims to be leaders in the development and support of juniors and junior golf.
Why Play Golf?
Because it’s great fun and you get to meet people of the same age. But it’s a challenging sport that requires concentration, problem solving, technique and endurance. Golf also reinforces life skills such as patience, honesty, courtesy, respect and sportsmanship and is one of those rare sports you can play at any age anywhere in the world.
“There are a number of rules at The Vines affecting golf and our junior members are expected to know them. They are also expected to understand golf etiquette and behave in way that does not negatively affect the enjoyment of the Club by all members.

Child Safe Environment
The Vines is committed to ensuring the safety of all children and young people at the Club. To this end we have developed the following documents:
Following the Mulligan Enquiry into the abuse of children in State care, the South Australian Government passed an amendment to the Children's Protection Act of 1993. As required, The Vines has lodged a Child Safe Environment Compliance Statement with the Department for Families and Communities and has developed a policy to assess all paid and voluntary positions in the Club and to 'prescribe' which positions require suitability for working with children screening check which must include police records check.
